Kevin A. MacGuire - Partner, Portfolio Director and Member of the Investment Committee
Mr. MacGuire was President and Chief Investment Officer of K.A. MacGuire & Company, LLC, Darien, CT which he organized in October 2001 to provide investment advisory services to individuals, families and their related entities until February 2009.
From 1993 until 2000, Mr. MacGuire was Managing Director and portfolio manager at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he was a member of the DLJAM management committee and head of the DLJAM Private Clients Group which managed $5 billion (of which he was personally responsible for $950 million) for wealthy families and individuals. After the acquisition of DLJ by Credit Suisse, Mr. MacGuire served as Managing Director and co-head of the Private Clients Group of Credit Suisse Asset Management until October 2001.
From 1984 to 1993, Mr. MacGuire was a Vice President and senior portfolio manager in the Private Bank of J.P. Morgan & Co. Inc. where he managed $800 million in investment portfolios for wealthy individuals, families and trusts. He also managed the technology sector of the Private Bank’s model portfolio and acted as deputy portfolio manager for the Private Bank’s two small company common stock funds.
From 1973 to 1984, Mr. MacGuire was with Lepercq, de Neuflize & Company in New York City, an investment management and banking firm, where he initially acted as assistant portfolio manager in the Eurodollar / Eurobond area, subsequently served as an analyst covering the oil services and waste management industries, and ultimately was Director Investment Services and portfolio manager for the firm’s domestic and international private clients.
From 1969 to 1973, Mr. MacGuire was with the Bankers Trust Company in their management training program and trust department.
Mr. MacGuire graduated from Georgetown University in 1969 with a B.A. in history. He was a founding director and served for ten years on the board of Group Live-In Experience, a childcare agency in the south Bronx, and also served for six years on the board of the Portsmouth Abbey School, Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

Susan Cheswick Brewer - Partner, Portfolio Director and Member of the Investment Committee
Prior to forming MCT, Susie was an owner, Portfolio Manager and Managing Director of Cheswick Wright Wealth Management LLC from February 2006 until March 2009, an investment management firm focused on providing wealth management to high net worth individuals. She joined a predecessor firm in 1997, Cheswick Investment Co., as a Portfolio Manager. Susie has enjoyed a diverse business career, spanning investment management, private banking and technology.
Susie attended Wellesley College, receiving a BA in Art History in 1977. She was trained by Citibank in New York City and was made a branch manager of a midtown retail bank within four years. During this time, she attended New York University's Stern School of Business and received an MBA in Finance in 1984. After graduation, Susie held a number of positions in the technology area, ultimately landing at IBM in a key position before entering the investment field.
Susie is married with one child and lives in Darien, Connecticut.

David P. Tuttle - Partner, Portfolio Director and Member of the Investment Committee
Prior to forming MCT, David was an owner, Portfolio Manager and Managing Director of Cheswick Wright Wealth Management LLC from February 2006 until March 2009, an investment management firm focused on providing wealth management to high net worth individuals. He joined a predecessor firm in 1999, Cheswick Investment Co., as a Portfolio Manager. Previously, David practiced law in the Greenwich, CT office of a large, international law firm. His diverse legal experience includes a broad array of corporate, securities, investment, and succession and estate planning matters.
David graduated cum laude from Princeton University in 1982, majoring in Economics and received a JD from Duke University Law School in 1985. He immediately joined Whitman Breed Abbott & Morgan LLP, becoming a partner in 1994.
David is married with two children and lives in New Canaan, CT. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Family Centers, a non profit organization dedicated to the empowerment of communities and its members to reaching their full potential. He serves on the Investment Committee. David and his family are also involved in supporting an orphanage in Ghana, Africa (puravidaforchildren.com/good_shepard.html).
